There are now three more reviews by him in the archive—reviews he wrote about books by other authors that were published in 1899 by the magazine The Theosophical Review: Review: "Constitution of the Ego" by A. P. Sinnett, Review: "Shadow Land, or Light from the Other Side" by E. d'Espérance and Review: "Northern Light and other Psychic Stories" by E. d'Espérance.

Two more Spanish articles are now in the archive: Lo que a todos sus estudiantes ofrece la Teosofía, published by the magazine Boletin de la Sociedad Teosofica en Uruguay on November 17, 1938, and Tres Minutos para Explicar la Teosofía, published by the magazine Revista de la Sociedad Teosofica en Uruguay in its July–September 1940 issue.

I've noticed that people from many countries are now visiting the CWL Tribute Archive. I'm very happy about that, so I've added a new feature to the archive that lets you view the content in over 100 languages! Now, most visitors can read the CWL Tribute pages in their own language by simply selecting their preferred language in the top-right corner.

Three articles from the magazine Re-Incarnation, published in 1914 and 1920, have been added: Karma as an Educator, Animal Karma and Time.

Two more Spanish articles are now in the archive, both from the January 1911 issue of the magazine La Verdad: Visitas Astrales and Las mónadas procedentes de la Luna.

The archive now also includes a Tamil translation of his book Smaller Buddhist Catechism, titled பௌத்தமத_பாலபோத_வினா_விடை, which was published in 1923.

Four additional articles from the magazine The Theosophical Review, published from January through March 1899, are in the archive now: Correspondence — Man before Monkeys, Clairvoyance (3), Clairvoyance (4) and Correspondence — Atomic sub planes, a reply.

New: From the magazine Teozofija, August 2, 1932: The Croatian translation of his article Loyal through Life and Death about Colonel H. S. Olcott.

The collection of the journal The Theosophical Review has been expanded to include three issues from November 1898 through January 1899: The Cross, Clairvoyance (1) and Clairvoyance (2).

New in the archive: A 1928 Tamil edition of Sādhana Chatuṣṭayam, presenting Annie Besant’s and C. W. Leadbeater’s detailed commentary on the teachings said to have been given by Master Kuthumi to J. Krishnamurti, as discussed in Talks on the Path of Occultism, Vol. I.

I found the articles Ancient Peru (1), Ancient Peru (2), Ancient Peru (3) and Ancient Peru (4), which were published in the magazine Theosophical Review in 1899. Now his series of articles, “Ancient Peru 1–5,” is available in its entirety.

The Spanish magazine El Teosofo published the article La Religion de Caldea, written by “Carlos” Webster Leadbeater, in its November–December 1948 issue.

In the magazine World Theosophy, I found the article Correspondence: Contacting the Masters, published in March 1933.

A new article has been added: Flowers from other Gardens, published in September 1927 in the journal Theosophy in India.

In the January 1922 issue of the journal Theosophy in Australia, I found two articles by him: Evidence of the Existence of the Masters and Questions and Answers.

New to the archive: Vade-Mecum to "Man: Whence, How and Whither", published in 1914, written by Albert Schwarz, a longtime treasurer of the Theosophical Society in Adyar.

This time, I added a brochure about him to the archive, published in 1925 by his physician, Mary E. Rocke: A Tribute to the Rt. Rev. Charles Webster Leadbeater.

The CWL Tribute Archive has grown: the 1,000th document has been added to the collection! When this archive was founded in 2024, the idea was quite simple: to collect, preserve, and make the writings of Charles Webster Leadbeater freely accessible to present and future generations. That idea has now grown into a collection of over 1,000 documents – books, pamphlets, articles, and other texts in numerous languages. The 1,000 mark an important step towards creating as complete a digital archive of Leadbeater's work as possible.

An article from the magazine The Indian Theosophist titled Our Relation to Children, published in July 1939, was added to the archive.

Another rare book is now available in the archive: Adyar - The Home of The Theosophical Society—a photo book published in 1911 featuring photographs of Adyar by Alcyone and accompanying texts by CWL.

Two new articles have been added: “Art Thou He That Should Come?”, published in June 1930 in the magazine The Theosophist 1930 Hollywood, and the Spanish-language article Vida y muerte de las hadas from the June 1923 issue of the magazine Zanoni.

New in the archive: Bhārata Samāj Pūja, the English translation of a Hindu ritual with notes on the effects perceived through clairvoyance, published posthumously in 1948.

More articles from The Australian Theosophist have been added to the archive. This time, all articles were published in 1930: Daily Life of a Master and six other articles are now available.

There is now also a Dutch article in the archive: Een Gelegenheit from the magazine De Ster in het Oosten, dated April 15, 1912.

Another rare find: In an anniversary book titled The Three World Movements, there is a lecture by him and J. I. Wedgwood titled The Revival of the Mysteries—and now it’s also available in the archive.

The archive now includes The Inner Side of Music and seven other articles more by him that were published in 1929 in the magazine The Australian Theosophist.

Now there's another book by him in the Archive in Icelandic: Aedri Heimar - I. Gedheimar

I have added 17 Spanish-language articles to the archive that were published in the journals El Loto Blanco and Fiat Lux between 1919 and 1928.

Until now, I have published all news items in both the German and English versions of the archive. To simplify things, I will henceforth only include news from the English section here in the Archive Journal.

I have scanned and edited more than 600 pages—and now this work is complete. One of his most significant works is now available in the German version of the archive in German for the first time: Das Innere Leben - Band 2 (The Inner Life Vol. 2), published in 1913. Like the first volume, this work offers profound answers to spiritual questions that were posed to him during evening discussions in Adyar. In my view, it is one of his most important works.

I've made the layout of his articles clearer: Within the six time periods covering his publications, you can now select the language of the article directly, and the list of his articles by magazine has been divided into English and other languages.

Three more of his German-language articles are now available in the German section of the archive: Die Kraft des Sternes, Die Lindigkeit des Sternes and Die Weisheit des Sternes, all published in 1918. This series of seven lectures is now complete.

New in the Archive: The Rationale of Telepathy and Mind-Cure, a lecture from 1903 that he delivered at Steinway Hall in Chicago.

I have added an early version of his story Jagannath dated April 1892, to the Archive, as well as the articles One-Pointedness and The Trend of the Universe, published in the magazine The Australian Theosophist on March 15, 1929

As for the Spanish books, La Vida Interna Tomo II has now been added—the Spanish translation of Volume 2 of his book The Inner Life.

Three articles from the March and April 1929 issues of The Australian Theosophist have been added: What is the Theosophical Society? and Spiritual Centres and their Work as well as Mihintale.

As I discovered, the donation link was broken—I apologize to all visitors who wanted to support CWL Tribute but were unable to do so. It’s working again now, though, and I’d be happy if some of you could make your donation. Three more of his German-language articles are now in the German part of the archive: Die Freiheit des Sternes, Die Freude des Sternes and Der Friede des Sternes, published beginning in October 1918. They are translations of three lectures from a series of seven lectures in total.

Another rare find: in 1896 CWL wrote a chapter on the rights of animals in the book The New Charter. It was not easy to track down, but it is now available in the English section of the archive.

A German article has recently been added, which appeared in June 1896 as a supplement in the magazine Sphinx: CWL gives tips for falling asleep.

I have added all five parts of his article The Christian Creed in the English section of the archive, which were published from September 1897 to February 1898 in The Theosophical Review.

Now in the English section there is his article An Astral Murder, published in December 1897 in the magazine The Theosophical Review.

In the English section there is now the article The Law of Sacrifice, published in May 1950 in the magazine The Theosophist.

Here there is now a new rare article by him: it is called The Aura and originally appeared in December 1896. The article is a German translation of his early work The Aura.

I have created a new page for the archive. It is called His Rarest Work.

Since today, the archive also contains another German text by him: an article of a magazine from 1918 featuring three chapters from the book "Mensch: Woher, Wie und Wohin" (Man: Whence, How, and Whither), written by him and Annie Besant.

In the German magazine Neue Metaphysische Rundschau from 1910, I found a rare article by and about him – 18 pages long, even with a photo!

From now on, this page includes direct links to newly added works in the archive so they can be found more quickly.

In an antiquarian bookshop in the Netherlands, I acquired another of his works: The Band of Servers, published posthumously in 1941, now available here.

His article Small Worries in the magazine World Theosophy from March 1933 is now included in the archive.

In the English section of the archive, the overview page now also includes a list of all German translations of his works available here.

As I discovered, some downloads were unavailable due to a technical issue. I have fixed the problem; all downloads should now work again.

The Finnish article Mestari Jeesus from the magazine Tietäjä from 1909 is now also available in the archive.

In the archive, the book Light on the Path and Karma by Mabel Collins from 1911 is now available, for which he wrote the foreword.

For the first time, a Finnish translation of one of his books from 1913 has been added to the archive.

I have expanded the archive with his lecture The Unseen World from 1906 about the subtle worlds, available in the English section.

In the archive, an article from 1911 from the magazine "The Adyar Bulletin" has been added.

Another German translation of one of his books has arrived in the archive: Das verborgene Leben in der Freimaurerei from 1927, about the inner spiritual processes of Masonic ceremonies.

His book Messages from the Unseen from 1931 is now available in the archive.

Another book of his in Icelandic translation called Aedri Heimar is now in the archive, and the four Icelandic articles are now available in improved quality.

Within just two months, more than 20,000 downloads of his books and articles have already been recorded from the archive. I am very pleased that his writings are receiving so much interest!

The archive now includes four additional Hungarian translations of his books, e.g. Élet a halál után, the translation of his book Life after Death.

As of today, one of his most important works is also available in German translation in the archive: Die Chakras, his monograph with many color plates on the human energy centers.

I have found a rare Polish translation of an article by him about the occult side of music. It is called Okultystyczna strona muzyki, published in 1922 in the Polish magazine Przeglad Teozoficzny, and is now included in the archive’s articles.

His books in other languages now also include Ясновидение, the Russian translation of his book "Clairvoyance" on clairvoyance.

The German section now also includes his book Die Devachan-Ebene from 1911, and I have restored the scan of Naturgeister.

“Life after Death” is now also available in the archive in its Icelandic translation Lífið eftir dauðann.

The archive has been expanded with the text Guardian Angels and Other Unseen Helpers, the published transcript of a lecture he gave in 1903.

CWL wrote a foreword for "Light on the Path", a little book by Mabel Collins in which she wrote down ancient wisdom of the Masters. The German translation Licht auf den Pfad from 1926 can now be found alongside his other German works.

I have found and added four more articles in German, from the magazine “Neue Gedanken” from 1905.

In the archive is a new discussion about him, this time even with video. It was produced by Freemasons and deals with his book "The Hidden Life in Freemasonry".

Another Serbo-Croatian translation has found its way into the archive, this time of his work "The Devachan Plane".

The German section of the archive has now been expanded with the book Der Mensch: Woher, Wie und Wohin, the German translation of his original "Man: Whence, How, and Whither".

For a quick overview, I have now added a timeline of his most important life stages in the section about him.

The “Books in Other Languages” section now also includes two publications translated into Swedish.

The archive now includes another 15 articles he published in 1928 and 1929 in the magazine "The Australian Theosophist".

Until now, I only had a verbatim transcript of the book Grundlinien der Theosophie—the German translation of his book “An Outline of Theosophy”—in the archive. As of today, there is also an original scan of this book available here.

I have discovered another remarkable book by him in German translation: the first volume of his two-volume series Das Innere Leben - Band 1 (original: "The Inner Life - Vol. 1"). You can find it among his German works.

The archive now also includes a book by Leadbeater in Polish titled Zasady Teozofji.

I have just expanded the archive with five early works by him: book reviews he published in the magazine "The Theosophical Review" in 1899.

The German section of the archive now includes another of his books in German translation: Das Leben im Jenseits ("Life in the Hereafter"), published in 1914.

Leadbeater’s books cover a wide thematic range. To make it easier to approach his work, I have created a page with recommended starting points in the “His Works” section.

The archive now features a central overview page, making it easy to check whether a given title is included in the collection. Given the large number of several hundred English-language texts in the archive, this addition proved useful.

One of his most important books, "The Chakras", is now also available as an audiobook in the archive.

In less than a month, the archive has already been viewed more than 10,000 times. Wow!

Oops – I noticed that, due to a technical error, the English audiobooks could not be downloaded. The issue has now been fixed, and the audiobooks are available again.

The scan of Gespräche über Zu Füßen des Meisters ("Talks on At the Feet of the Master") has now been completed. I scanned and processed nearly 700 pages for this monumental work! The book is exactly 100 years old and is now once again available to the world here in the archive.

After only eleven days, the new archive has already reached 5,370 page views and more than 5,800 downloads! I'm delighted.

Another rare book by him in German has found its way into my hands: "Gespräche über Zu Füßen des Meisters". Scanning it will take some time, however, as the book is quite substantial.

I received the book Die symbolische Bedeutung des Sterns ("The Symbolic Meaning of the Star"), the German translation of one of his lectures. I scanned it and made it available online. I have also added my scan of the book Denen die Trauern ("To Those Who Mourn") to the archive. Although this text was already included, it is now available in a much better quality.

Wow, just 24 hours later, the counter already shows 800 downloads! It seems there are still people interested in CWL.

Today is – possibly – Charles Webster Leadbeater's birthday. A fitting occasion to open his new works archive.

I originally put the archive online exactly one year ago, on what was believed to be his previous birthday. At that time, I deliberately chose a design that looked as though the Internet had already existed around 1910: black and white, angular, simple, and almost somewhat rudimentary. However, very few people understood this design concept. I have therefore completely redesigned the archive and given it a modern, colorful appearance.

I also restored his photographs, enhanced their quality, and carefully colorized them. As a result, they appear more vivid and more immediate—almost as if he were still with us today.

I now present this new archive to the public. It is the result of many months of work, research, and careful attention to detail. Maintaining the archive also involves ongoing costs. Nevertheless, access will remain free so that this valuable knowledge is available to everyone with an interest. The archive is therefore financed through donations, and I hope that some visitors will choose to support the project.
